Terry's Story

Yep I'm gay! I relocated to San Francisco in 1992 after losing my job as a VP for Westmark Credit Union in Idaho Falls for not being straight. ng at the SF International Airport (SFO.) In January 2008, my partner and I decided to "sell out" and "retire." We sold our home in the Castro district of San Francisco and moved to Fair Oaks California, about 15 miles north of Sacramento. So at 49, I¿m starting a new phase in my life, the house (with pool and hot tub) is paid for and I don¿t need to worry about employment. In June 2008, I was married in California to my partner of 13 years, Michael Green. None of this would have happened, or even been possible, had I stayed in Idaho Falls. I feel very fortunate indeed! October 2009 - Still gay, still married and still retired. Life is good!
