Terry's Story
Life
Divorced with 4 children, 2 by first wife, 2 by second wife. Been enjoying life in Butler, Pa. Oldest son quit sales, dropped out.. Oldest daughter divorced and lives in Philly with 2 children, Lars and Maja. 2nd daughter graduated from art school in Philly (Temple Univ.) and got married in 2008. 2nd son just graduated from Edinboro U. Wow, kids from 24 to 44. I am now officially retired and maintain a website usaflags.net. I also do a lot of yard saling and selling on e-Bay (who doesn't?). We have two girls from Czech Republic who we hosted as exchange students and have gone there to visit them. We love them as our own and can't wait until we can go visit them again. We traveled to St. John's in the U.S.V.I. 6 years ago and 5 years ago went to Tortola, B.V.I. 4 year ago we took family and friends to Mexico.2 years ago went to Croatia with sister and daughter. Life has been great, health great, and hope some of my old friends will see fit to drop me a note. I just returned from a college fraternity reunion in Bonita Springs, Florida...terrific seeing brothers after 47 years. Am looking to spend time in the Caribbean...if anyone travels down there let me know and we can compare notes. In 2009 went on a cruise to Cozumel in May, and traveled to Wisconsin in July to meet a sister we never knew about...wow! Got a whole 'nother family in N. Wisconsin. In Sept. went swimming in all 5 great lakes in one day. Went with an old fraternity brother from college. What a trip! Now looking for a place in warmer climes. Oh, went to Missouri this summer and visited Sharon Niyri Leffler, and up to N. Wisconsin to see Roxy Johnson Schneider. Stopped in Racine and saw Lynne Crane...good summer. Also went sailing with Bill Beha and Lee Edmonston down on the Chesapeake...guess I did quite a bit of traveling. Now May 2010 and off to Belize for a month. Looking for a place to live or at least be a snowbird. Might just move around a bit until it gets old. Have thought of moving back to Racine but the winters keep it just a thought! I need warm and clear water...caribbean?

minor heart attack and 2 stents later am doing great. Looking forward to Florida in Feb. or Mar., then Florida again for fraternity reunion in May. Would love to see a small Park High reunion No. 55? Anyone interested. Something simple, like a big picnic after July 4th parade. Still looking for place to live but think I'll stay in the states. In Butler Pa still and it is cold! I want to go where it is warm.
Update: Went to Florida March '11 and cruise to Bahamas. Came back and had lunch with Kay Koeper Sorenson and friends Arlene Rhody, Gloria Rickard, Ron and Pat Brodsko. Nice day...heard Ron and Pat and others are planning a 55th class reunion next year in Racine! Go to Florida usually once a year and had planned to get together again with Larry Randolph but heard from his daughter that he had passed last year. Larry was one of my best friends and I am glad I reconnected with him after many years. On a lighter note I will be sailing with Bill Beha and Lee Edmonston again this spring. Looked at place to buy in Florida...not sure if this is where I want to be but there are so many Racine people down there along with a lot of college friends. Made offer for place in Florida but was outbid. Will go down again in the fall and look around. Sailing in July with Bill Beha. Taking art classes and still buying art at auctions and yard sales...'bout time to get rid of most of it.
Went on another cruise to the Bahamas but think I have had enough cruising. Joined local art center and active as board member and fundraising. Also got involved with the Bantam Jeep Heritage festival. The Army Jeep was first produced in Butler, Pa, and it will be a huge annual festival. Have a reunion in Florida end of March and then Racine in July and then Rochester, NY in the fall for a fraternity reunion. Whew! Need to slow down. Visited 2 daughters in Philadelphia a few weeks back. I still enjoy traveling and would like to go back to Europe. Hope to see lots of classmates in July.
Just heard from Lynn Crane Leithleiter and Sharon Nyiri Leffler...both going to runion...maybe we can get enough for a fishing boat...We have 3 now,need 2 or 3 more. July 5th before evening dinner. Anyone?
