Terry's Story
I have lived in Burleson for about a year and a half raising my granddaughter. She is quite the Drama Queen, but a great kid. She does remind me of myself in some ways when I was in High School. She can pull nothing over me! I have been married to Mike for 23 years and we plan on staying together forever. We both retired about 4 years ago. He was a Dallas Police Officer for 33 years. ll can't believe he is gone. I really miss him. My Mom decided to build a house a couple of streets away from me and will be moving in soon. It will be nice to have her close.
I love to swim, visit with family, work in the flower beds and intend to learn to play golf this summer. Maybe I will see my husband more often. I enjoy walking with the neighbor hood gang and keeping up with the gossip.
My granddaughter keeps me pretty busy. She is 17 and will be a senior this coming school year. Next will be college. I don't know what happen she just grew up over night.
