Terry's Story
Left for Kansas in the Spring of 1966 and have remained here ever since with occasional trips back to California. My twin brother Jerry & wife Sandy reside in La Habra Heights My brother John (class of 64) now lives in Ohio.
One of my joys of my high school years were drama classes. Our drama coach, John Alberico called me the night before I was to leave for Kansas to tell me that he had submitted my name after graduation and I had been accepted into UCLA's drama program but much to his disappointment and mine I had to leave. I played the role of Veta Louise Simmons (Cast B ) in our senior play "Harvey" I can remember Candy Jobling (who played Veta Louise in Cast A) sitting in the front row sucking on one lemon after another trying to mess me up! I still laugh to this day. How I got through that night I will...Expand for more
never know!! I won "Actress of the Year" Candy probably would have won it if she hadn't sucked on those lemons!! Being a member of Emanon my senior year was also special having been "willed in" by Larry Cassell's sister, Leslie.
By age of 25 I had my 3 children They are such successful adults ranging in age from 50 to 55. (as of 2022) I am blessed with many grandchildren and many more great grandchildren. My small town has about the same amount of people as was in our senior class. It is peaceful living with cold winters, hot summers and perfect in between. I retired from working outside the home at 60 yrs of age leaving a varied work career ranging from purchasing, sales & marketing & administrative assisting. I am a true homemaker at heart and have been enjoying many years to work on my home and hobbies.
