Terry's Story
After graduating from high school I joined the USAF and was sent to language school in Monterey, CA, for a year. I was then assigned to England, met my wife and had my first daughter, then went back to Monterey for another year of language training, then back to England where we had our second daughter. We were then sent to Denver where we spent six years, and I retired from the USAF in 1995. I went to work for TRW as a Unix System Administrator in Aurora, then for Lockheed Martin and went back to England. In August 2006 I left Lockheed Martin and am now employed by Northrop Grumman on a US base in England, where I live with my wife and two daughters.
We like to travel and within the last couple years have been to Washington DC and Baltimore, Denver, Chicago, Minneapolis, New York, San Jose, Houston and Dallas, Alaska, California, Nevada, Arizona, Vancouver (Canada), Prague (Czech Republic), the Canary Islands, Scotland, Normandy, Germany, Paris, Venice (Italy), Australia, the Maldives, and Singapore. As of 16 Aug 2009 we just returned from a trip to visit my Mom for her 80th birthday and drove up to Carmel, San Fran, and Yosemite.

h School in San Bernardino, CA. I was in Fontana for 8th-11th grade, and my memories of the school are mostly positive. Basically, I just looked forward to getting home and riding my motorcycle.
My high school buddies at Fohi were Joe Twa and Tim Wilson, and Mark Rider at Pacific. FOHI people will more likely remember my sister Tammy, who was the definitive Wild Child. But we won't talk about that here...
The teachers I remember the most are probably the French teacher (Mr. Friese) and the Physics/Chemistry professor, Dr. Yount (sp?). Good guys. I remember working on the floats with Mr. Friese a couple of years.
We moved back to San Bernardino and I did my senior year at Pacific. Not that it was a bad school, but who wants to move to another school in their senior year? Two months after graduating and still 17 years old, I was on a plane bound for Air Force basic training.
My Associate (Interpreting and Translating) and Bachelor (Sociology) degrees were done while I was in the USAF and my Masters (Mgmt Info Systems) since I've been in the UK. All were done while working full time so, unfortunately, there were no frat parties, football games, or other "bonding" sessions for me to talk about. Sigh...
