Terry's Story

After high school, I attended Ontario Agricultural college at Guelph. After graduation, I managed a farm in Schomberg for a couple years. I married Elaine Headrick, who was a Macdonald Institute. We attended Ontario Bible College for a year and then left for Africa (via France for French studies) with the Evangelical Alliance Mission. After managing a hospital construction in Chad for 3 years, Elaine picked up a parasite that affected her heart. We could not return to Africa so we went back to France where we stayed for a total of almost 30 years. I did construction / renovations of church buildings for 4 years. vilege of living in working in Lyon (food capital of the world) where I was business manager of an international school for 3 years. In 2005, our mission asked us to go to Nepal to administer the work there. We stayed for 7 years until we retired in 2012. We have 3 children, Debbie lives with her husband and 2 sons in Niagara Falls. Steve lives with his Nepali wife and 4 kids in Nepal where he teaches Bible and does Development work. Our Nepali daughter-in-law's younger sister Esther, lived with us for 6 years until she finished high school. She is not studying Occupational Therapy in the Philippines. We now live in Carleton Place, just west of Ottawa. My email is my first AT last names followed by .org.
