Terry's Story

Worked heavy labour. Did not like it. Went back to school and became a computer professional during the age of mainframes. that kept me gainfully, if not always happily, employed for the next 40 years. I married, had 2 girls within 14 months and then my wife became disenchanted with both wifedom and motherhood, and left to pursue other interests. I became a single parent with custody of two young girls, a job at which I was and am spectacularly bad. After a decade or more of being single, I started making an effort to have a life and was fortunate to meet a young lady with whom I have lived for about 35 years. age and returned to the craft, becoming involved in the administration of my particular lodge and became Master of the lodge in 2015. I travel when $$$s allow.. I have visited or cruised much of the Caribbean. Have holidayed in Mexico. Have holidayed and cruised Alaska. Have cruised the South Pacific and would gladly do it again, even live there if given a chance. My heath stinks. I am diabetic. I've had back problems since my 30s. I've had three surgeries on my spine and now endure spinal stenosis which makes standing and walking painful, sometimes in the extreme. My mental health and morale is great, except for occasional bouts of old-timers.
