Life I have a good life. I was one of the lucky few; I knew exactly what profession I wanted to pursue. I wanted to be a Flight Attendant with a major airline, and I finally made it in 2000. I work for Northwest Airlines and live in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I have lived here five years now and love it, which I never expected! I'm currently devoted to my partner, Steven, and we recently celebrated our one-year anniversary. I have many blessings in my Life and I'm thankful for all that I've accomplished and endured getting to this place. In school, I wasn't popular and many thought I was odd. Well, I was odd! But considering my home-life, it is amazing that I didn't pull a "COLUMBINE" and go after a lot of kids who made my life a living HELL. Instead, I learned compassion and empathy for other oddballs like myself and made many wonderful friends. It has only been in the recent years that I've realized that I had so many wonderful friends. God is great that way! He always makes sure we have a least one friend along the way. I also took the long way to my goals. I didn't finish college because of personal issues, economics, and betrayals by professors (I had an unethical, sexual relationship with one of them!) So, I decided to conquer the world on my own and fell flat on my face! Of course, that was meant to happen because it led me to many other places and taught me wonderful new skills. I went to California and grew up! I lived there for twelve years and worked at Denny's. It was a tough existance, but it also taught me many things about life: it cycles. It also gave me the space and means to deal with many childhood traumas I had repressed and kept secret all through school i.e. child abuse, rape, incest, and a mentally ill parent. I lived in San Diego, the Twelve Step Capital of America! And it led me to some incredibly strong and wonderful people.
