Terry's Story
After high school and UT Austin, I moved to Seattle and then to Fort Worth, working in the aerospace industry. I married Sandy in 1980 and transitioned to civil/structural forensic engineering in 1984 working for Haag Engineering Co. We moved from Fort Worth, TX, to Bedford, TX, and then to Richmond, TX. In 2005, we moved to Austin, TX, and I opened a Haag branch office. Sandy is a retired RN, and I transitioned to part-time work in May 2020. process of building a home there. We hope to return to the Austin area for UT football and baseball games and doctor visits.
We have two children - a daughter and son. Both are graduates of UT Austin. Our daughter is married and living in Overland Park, KS with her husband and three children. Our son is single and living in Richmond, TX. I enjoy playing golf and watching college football, baseball and volleyball. I also officiate high school, youth select, men's league, and college summer baseball.
