Teresa's Story
Life
My husband, Nyman and I have been married since May 27,1972. We have three children, Michelle (who has given us two red-headed grandsons), Aaron, (who's wife gave us a new red headed grandson in Dec. 2009) and Sharon, a nurse at Carle Hospital in Champaign. One of the best and scariest times in my life, was 7years ago, when I headed off to Europe with my youngest daughter to visit with the many friends I had made in England, Wales, Belgium and Holland. How exciting it was to see things I had only read about. Especially Piccadilly Circus, Big Ben, Strawberry Fields (the whole Beatle's Tour, Windmills and the Eiffel Tower!

f crafts (I've painted and sold things at craft fairs). My husband and I are a Friendship family for International Students attending Illinois State University.
They do not stay with us but we visit with them, take them to dinner and shopping, occasionally they spend the night with us. One of our special students is considered part of the family. Santosh is from India and is working in California. Others that we have hosted are two girls, one from Korea and one from Japan and three boys, Ka Ying from Hong Kong, Antonio from Mexico and the lastest, Asliddin from Uzbekistan. I've learned so much from these young folks! I think that being around them is keeping me young.
