My Kids
My two girls have given me 3 grandsons and a granddaughter.
My Job
I was a Deputy Sheriff for approx.34 years, including 7 years SWAT and a fulltime Firearms Instructor. I retired in March 2002. I now teach firearms through a couple of local colleges parttime.
Workplace
I joined the San Diego (CA) Sheriff'sDepartment in November '68. I work...Expand for more
ed all areas of law enforcement, including 7 years in SWAT, Training and Investigations. I was a firearms instructor for 20 of those years and was qualified as a firearms expert in our court system. I retired in March '02 and continue to teach in our community college system.
Military
Enlisted in LA; boot camp in San Diego; "A" school in San Diego, assigned to Beach Jumper Unit One, NOSGP, at USNAB, Coronado; jump school at Ft. Benning; two tours in Viet Nam (in-country); discharged in Dec. '67
