Terry's Story
If I need to blow off steam I take the chainsaw out and clear brush, or garden, read, write, visit with friends
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have paper, pen, and a good book to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
I have lived in San Francisico, Santa Rosa, Bloomfield (a very tiny community southwest of Sebastopol) and I've been back in Placerville since 1993- I moved back to clear out emotional history and clear out the house my dad left my siblings and I.
My biggest surprise wasn't a cheerful one- my younger sister has a mental disorder which makes it impossible for her to work, so she lives with my brother and I
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the whole thing and add on a library/study. My dream home would be somewhere where it doesn't SNOW.

I still see some of my teachers at the Academic Decathlon, where I am a speech judge. The teacher I would love to see again is Mr Holmes; he had a wonderful sense of humour and was a great English teacher
If I won $100 million, I'd give 3/4 of it to Habitat for Humanity, then spend the rest on re-doing my 85 Toyota convertible, a trip to Britain, Ireland, France and Portugal and making sure my sister is comfortable.
The weirdest job I have ever had is the one right now: I drive for a limousine company and I am writing this at 3:45 a.m. because I woke too bloody early for a 5:30 pick-up. This is also one of the most fascinating jobs I have had...
I share my home with my brother and sister, which I find comforting, for the most part.
One do-over: come out of my shell earlier.
