Terry's Story

After graduation in '65, enlisted in the Air Force and went in during the fall. Had always been mechanically inclined and got to work on jet fighter aircraft. Got to share a year in South East Asia in '66 & '67. Was discharged in '69. Traveled about following an aviation career. Spent many years in Texas and retired north of Dallas while working for a corporate aviation department. Found a wonderful place on the St Johns River about 60 miles south of Jacksonville. ...Expand for more
Retired to this one red light town in the fall of 2012. Have two grown children, daughter lives in the Houston area, with two grandsons. And my son lives in the North Atlanta area. Tried marriage once or twice but it seems I felt more married to the airport than the ladies. Enjoying doing projects around my place and 'trying' my luck at fishing on the river. The fish are pretty much safe when I go out on the river but the view makes up for the lack of fishing luck.
