Terry's Story
After Reagan County I attended Texas Tech in Lubbock majoring in Architectural Design. After I got out, I worked Designing Fire Sprinkler Systems for Commercial buildings. After four years I left because I felt that I could not spend my life working indoors' I moved from Lubbock to Lafayatte Lousiana in 1975 to work for an Oilfield Service company, TOTCO servicing drilling Rigs both land and Offshore. c Manager which I served until 1981 when I was promoted to Gulf Coast Region and in 1983 I was moved to Norman Ok as Eastern Division Manager. In 1988 I moved back to Houston V.P. of Domestic Operations. In 1991 Totco was acquired by Varco International and the operations were moved to Austin Tx to merge in with Martin Decker. I became V.P and General Manager leading what grew from an $88 Million to a $350 Million dollar company before I retred in April 2009 after 34 years of service.
