Terry's Story
Wow, what a ride I've had...
I recently had a chance to think about how circumstances seem to repeat themselves generation after generation.
I remember a picture of my great-grandfather with Mr. Firestone and Mr. Cooper who when on to be great businessmen in the tire and rubber business. As I remember the story he even owned the first steam shovel for mining coal in the area....but gambling and drinking lost him his fortune....
3 generations later, I find myself in his shoes..having started humbly in EP and make my mark in the dot-com world ...Expand for more
only to lose it all...by gambling on my company and empoyees would change the world. Well we changed my world, bankruptcy, divorce after 23 years, moved away to Phoenix.... starting over...
Well it's been 7 years and I'm still hurt, still stuck with the memories of my mistakes, trying to learn what I did wrong and how to avoid repeating myself...
In any case, I found someone to share my life with after all was lost, but I've not found my career path back to what I had....
Today I get out in the Jeep and explore the backroads of AZ... Bye
