Life After Amarillo, I married Gary Paiste, graduated from West Texas State, lived in Denver and Okinawa until Gary's second enlistment ended, and wound up in Denver again, working as an Education Counselor at Fitzsimon's Army Hospital until the Vietnam War ended. We moved to Washington, D.C. in 1973, where I worked as a writer-editor for FDIC until retirement in 1995. I finished my M.A. at U of Maryland (English, naturally), and Gary got a second degree there in computers. His last computer job was for the Department of State, and he maintained a web site for stamp collectors and dealers until his death from a heart attack in 2003. I've been writing plays for the last few decades, and I specialize in senior plays for senior audiences (see "Seniors Acting Up" at your local library, and be thrilled. Or not.).
