Thalia's Story
Friends were surprised when I spent 8 summers at Coffee Point in Bristol Bay Alaska at my family's fishing camp. I'd fly commercial airlines to King Salmon and then a bush plane out to the beach. At the camp I would either cook for the fishermen or go fishing myself on a 32 ft. drift boat. It was certainly a different world! One year we were "high boat" sitting so low in the...Expand for more
water due to the tonnage of salmon that the boat name was no longer visible. At that point a photo was taken of me climbing thru a window to turn the boat off. That photo was featured at the Seattle Boat Show to represent just how many pounds a Roberts boat would pack!
Now I'm home in Oregon enjoying life with my family and friends. Who knows what adventure may be waiting!
