Theirn's Story
I joined the Navy after high school. That was a seven-year adventure. I met my bride, Jan Murphy, of 45 years while stationed at NAS Memphis. She too was in the Navy. We have one son, who is disabled and lives with us in Lawrenceville, GA.

While I haven't played golf since my retirement, it was my primary "hobby" for many years and played to a 12 handicap at the height of my game. My other hobbies are interests in economics, philosophy, and politics. I've been a member of the Libertarian Party since 1998. Hopefully, golf will once again, soon, become a part of my life.
