Theodore's Story
Took a bad fall in Viet Nam and again in England, injured my back seriously, and was unable to reenlist again. That ended my thirteen years in the military. Was a production supervisor with Cargill Grain for seven years. Resigned my position when my back became worse. Did various sales jobs until my third surgery on my spine was required. I was given an unemployable status by the military when I was forty seven. Beth and I enjoyed all the travel in the U.S. and three years in Germany. Retiring early was not a joyful experience. Beth had to go back to work for 10 years. We have two boys and a girl. Pete lives in Wisconsin he is married and has two children, Kenny is married and has three boy and a girl. The last two children were twins. Our daughter lives in Big Sky, Montana. She says she will never get married or have children Oh, I almost forgot about my heart condition. The doctors at the VA Hospital believe the heart condition has been brought on by being exposed to Agent Orange. That isn't good news. I have attended college from the Univ. of Mn, to the Univ. of Maryland. I was in my third year when I could no longer work so I have no degree. However, my retirement income is not bad for a slacker. Fun times includes working at the Jamie Farr Golf Tournament. Most of the lady golfer are very attractive. Also worked the 7th hole at the Senior Golf Tournament. All my idles were there. Beth and I were invited back to England after I was released from the hospital, and we spent a ...Expand for more
day at Wimbelton, and watch Chris Everet win her tennis match. When we were in Big Sky, Montana Betsy took us to a restaurant where Evil Conevil's grand daughter worked. While we were there Evil came in for dinner. I was in nine T.V. commercials advertising furnaces and air conditioners, Dave Lennox was in three of the commercials with the sales staff and I. (Received results of my heart condition, and was upgraded from 60%, unemployable, to 100% Disabled. I am not certain if that means I have one foot in the grave?) Another thing I forgot to mention, I spent four summers in Haiti doing missionary work. The hurricane took many of the lives of people and children that I worked with. Only God knows why these things happen. Our church still send a team to work on homes for the victims on the hurricane in New Orleans.
I was there the first year, but have not been healthy enough to go back.. For the past few years I have been writing a fictional story. Even if it is never published, I have had spent many hours doing research and learning to express myself properly. I will let you know if it does get published. I have read over this bio and very little is in order of three occurrences..
Beth and I hope this brief history of our lives was interesting. We also hope that your lives have been blessed with many happy memories. I have new pictures of Beth and I, but I must find someone that knows how to copy them to this web sight. The pictures were taken July 2016. Beth has not aged.
