OK, this is the first time I've been on this site, so I'm not sure what to say or if anyone will actually read it!
Andy and I are still married, very happily, and are enjoying the whole "empty nest" thing! Our older daughter Maggen,22, is taking classes to prepare for nursing school and working in the coffee shop at Bronson. She is single (thankfully!) and lives in Portage. Chelsea, 18, is going to GVSU and is currently in Taiwan for 6 weeks of foreign study. We both wish we could have had experiences like that, but we're glad we can provide that for our kids!
Andy has a small software business, working with three other guys that used to work with him at his last job. He wasn't really expecting to be in business this long, but he's really good at anything he tries, so I'm not surprised! in his spare time, he is working on an airplane. He started in 2000, and we hope to fly in the next year or two. It's a beautiful plane, and he is doing an amazing job...he is very meticulous about the construction, so I have n...Expand for more

As for me, I've been a pediatric nurse at Bronson for over 10 years...a job that I absolutely love (most of the time). The kids are mostly great, it's the psycho parents that make us miserable...just an occupational hazard, I guess.
When not working, we love to travel and we are both huge movie fans. We're both amazed at how many movies available on netflix we've already see, and we are really enjoying watching foreign films (not available at the local Hardings in Otsego!)
Because of his love of aviation, Andy goes to the big OshKosh fly-in every year in Wisconsin. I went in 1996 and again last year, and will probably be going each year from now on. He's made many really great friends there, and I really enjoyed meeting them last year.
I am really looking forward to the reunion, and have every intention of bringing Anne (Bauer) along. I've enjoyed the other reunions so much, and look forward to seeing people we haven't seen since the last reunion or since high school...
