Theresa's Story
Hi!
You probably know me as Terry Charboneau. I've been married twice and divorced twice since high school. I had a son in 1987 with Bob Williams, also from Hazelwood West. We never married, but we have a great kid!! Brad just got married in January and is making me a Grandma in August. You do the math!! Ha Ha! He graduated from Warrenton High School in 2005, bought a house on 3 acres in 2007, and is a sub-contractor that installs windows and doors with Bob's brother Tim. I'm very proud of him!! He's one of a few kids I know that is responsible.
I've been living in Warrenton since 1994. I live on 60 acres of family land and love to fish and take walks around the lake. My parents and my sister Sandy also have houses on the land.
Sandy married Mike Smyth and they have 3 kids and 1 Grandson. Mike and Sandy also went to Hazelwood West, and got married right out of school. They will be married 30 years next year. (God we're all getting old!!)
Mike's brother Shawn comes out now and then with his son, and we fish and BBQ. Shawn has Parkinsons Disease. He does pretty good since his brain surgery last year, but his balance is like he was drinking in high school!! He's a good man. We went to Vegas together in 2006 and had a blast!!
My sister Mickey still lives in St louis. She has been married almost...Expand for more
25 years and has 3 kids and 4 Grand kids. If you remember her....she is still the same!!
My sister Diane also lives here in Warrenton. She has 2 kids and 3 grand kids. We make jewelry together. She has Fibro Mialgia and is in pain 24-7, but has really good drugs!!
Sandy and I sell stuff at the Wentzville flea market on Sundays. We have fun, but it cuts into our fishing time!!
I bartended for 7 years back in the 90's. Mike Asberry was one of my customers at the Blockhouse. He came to see me the day he died and I was not there. It kills me everytime I think about that. Maybe he would be alive today if I was there for him. We got to know each other pretty well, and had each other's backs in quite a few situations. I still miss him.
RIP Mikey
If anyone who reads this knows how I can get in touch with Debby Guerin, please e-mail me theresa028atcenturytel.net, last I heard she was living in Texas. I would love to talk with her again!!
Well, I've bored you all enough!! Please get in touch if you want to!!! I don't remember a whole lot from High School (due to the drugs) but I do remember some:-) Most of us were lucky enough to live through those days, but some of us didn't. Don't forget those that did not make it.
Say a few words for our service men and women, too!!
Stay safe and healthy.
Terry
