Life
My husband is Michael White from the Class Of '86 at Oak Hill High, we have been married since May of 93. We bought a house in Red Star and had the horrible misfortune to be flooded in 2001. I had been working as a Librarian for 6 years at the Mt. Hope Public Library, due to the flooding we were forced to relocate. Our home was condemned and torn down by the state. teered with a group called flood recovery for a year after the flood at which time they offered me a paid position. I now work for the Office of Emergency Services through a Grant from FEMA. I purchase flooded homes and remove people from the floodplain so they don't have to go through what I did in their future. I keep in touch with as many people as I can from school. It's hard since I am not in town anymore but I still see a few people from time to time. I hope to see lots of you at the reunion... Love and prayers to all of you.
