Theresa's Story
Life
Most of you probably remember me as the girl who wanted to be a professional wrestler. I'm still trying to figure out the psychological answer for that one.
Anyway, I received my GED in the summer of 1978, after being disillusioned by high school. I received my Bachelor of Computer Technology from the University of North Florida in 1985 -- took a job with EDS, Ross Perot's old company and moved to Dallas. After a brief stint, I returned and started working in the fun world of professional sports -- tennis. I worked for ProServ, a sports marketing and management firm. onnors for the title. The next year we had to hire body guards for Agassi's return. I eventually worked on the men's senior tennis tour, which Connors founded and moved to Naples, Fl. Spent a lot of time traveling with the events. The AVP (pro volleyball tour) was my next gig. I handled all their computerized ticketing across the U.S. Best job I ever had -- flying to 20 different cities and looking at gorgeous athletes all day. That's where I met my fiancee'. We have a two year old son and another son on the way. Nothing like starting at 40! Things are good, life is good. But I do miss and think about my partying days at Orange Park High.
