Theresa's Story
Life
I am still in CNY. Living on the lake in Bridgeport with Emily and Sean. Kids grow so quickly! I received a Master's from California State in Quality Assurance and then decided to go into teaching so that my schedule would be compatible with the kids! I graduated from Oswego with my MSEd in December 2002. Oneida eliminated my position at the end of 2003. I was fortunate to pick up a full time position at West Genny teaching business.
Workplace
Started at Hanford answering phones and taking orders. Quickly moved up to an a...Expand for more
ssistant position for a couple of directors and then held my own office preparing filings and applications for new products with the FDA. Handled product release and other quality assurance items. (5 years)
Left here and went to the American Red Cross. (10 years) Worked quality and regulatory duties here and continued part time until I went back to school to teach. Even did work for ARC while living in China (telecommuting is great).
Taught two years P/T in Oneida and now have a full time business teacher job at West Genesee.
