Before my senior graduation in 1972, I ran away from home and went to live with my Dad, who lived in Paramount. I ended up graduating from Paramoiunt High school in 1972 even though I had already taken my senior picture from Carson High and had left behind all my friends without a word. I married at 18, 3 months after graduation, to a man who lived in Paramount also. Because I was so young and married basically to get out of my Dad's house its no wonder I was divorced by 19. I returned to Carson and lived with my Mom for a few months, got a job and moved to Hermosa Beach with some roommates. I got in touch with my high school boyfriend and began our relationship pretty much where we left off, before I moved to Paramount. During this time my Mom got sick and died of cancer in 1977 and thus began my journey into some very dark places for a few years. In 1982 I ran into a high school "crush" from Carson High and we got married 4 months later. As you can imagine, you can"t possibly get to know someone in just 4 months and although I gave this relationship all I had it was doomed from the start. We divorced in 1985 and the only good thing to come from this union was my step children... Since they were his children we lost touch but in 2002 as fate would play its hand, these same children ended up getting a job where I worked for the past 25+ years and were no longer "children".!!
