Theresa's Story

Life I am currently working as a Medical Transcriptionist part-time and and Native American Artist Full-Time. After 5 years of hard work my company Inspirit Inspirations is standing on its own two feet, most of the medicine bags and sand paintings have been inspired by the Rocky Mountains and my previous home in Albuquerque that was surrounded by the Sandias. My Husband Lou operates his own computer repair and programming business we have 3 children 2 boys, and girl, 12, 8, and 7. We both just started working full time from home and despite the mess of sand paint and computer parts our new puppy Tigre seems to be surviving okay. I have a new nephew and am house-sitting while my parents travel to Switzerland with their newest grandchild, my nephew who is 18 months old. My brother in law is originally from there and I know if he and my sister know what is good for them they will either bring me a nice watch or lots of chocolate. I am currently packing to leave with the American Red Cross Disaster Action Team to Jacksonville Florida and then be bussed into New Orleans due to the hurricane. We have lots of work to do. After medical school, I became an RN, but then left that job to do medical transcription at home and to have my 3 beautiful babies. I can just hear my 12 year old going oh mom. o let go of the reward you get from helping people, so I get that out of my system by volunteering my medical skills with the red cross. We have a house that opens up to a park and love to watch the sun set from our back yard while the kids play in the park, who knew a park could be such a great baby sister, now if we could just figure out how to get the kids out of the bedroom at night without tickling us to death we would be okay. Well, every now and then Grandma and Grandpa offer to baby sit and we get to go camping on our own without the little buggers, when we can persuade the 12-year-old he can go without fishing at least one weekend and survive on XBOX and doritos. Those Rocky Mountain Bed and Breakfasts can be romantic, but pick one with a jaccuzzi hot tub not just jets. Well hope to hear from you all. Have a great time and talk to you in a two weeks when I get back. It was so sad to hear the reunion was cancelled we were so looking for another excuse to drop of the kids and Grandmas and leave the businesses behind for another romantic trip to albuquerque. Oh well, well just have to have the cheesecake delivered overnight with dry ice, just doesn't seem the same. I miss the Old Cheese Cake Factory have to settle for the one downtown here. Well better quit dragging my heels, I have lots of work ahead of me and need a good nights rest.
