IAPTE International Academy of Pediatric Transdisciplinary Education. I was instrumental in organizing two international symposium, one in Washington,D.C and one in India both of which I received an HONORARIUM. There were two NOBEL PRIZE LAUREATES there Dr. Albert Sabin and Dr. Frederick Salk who developed the POLIO vaccine years before and who all but completely irradicated polio from the face of the earth. It was the high light of my life and two events I will cherish forever.
After that Pediatrician retired at moved back to his home country of Greece. I took a position with an Obstetrician/Gynecologist in Papillion, NE. for whom I worked for, for six years. This doctor invited me one day to labor and delivery at Midlands Hospital to witness the birth of a child (Authorized by the parents of course). It is truly remarkable both on the receiving and witnessing the beginning of new life.
