We bought our first house in conway 5 yrs. ago. It needs some work. But we love it.
My husband "david harris" is 5 yrs older than me, but he also went to evans. He is a great, loving supportive father and husband. I feel so lucky to feel so totally loved. He is A COMMERCIAL PLUMBER and works very hard. I worked for years in the high volume rest. biz. I ran some of the biggest and (busiest prep kitchens in the world. I loved it. utrition. Just as I was about to be promoted to dept. manager. I ran into health problems and was given strict instructions by several dr.s to quit NOW or pay big time later. I have several severe neck conditions i.e. herniated discs, nerve root lesions, migrains and etc. I was devastaed. Now I have to take meds to just function without pain, pain that once made me wish I was dead. I miss playing softball, riding roller coasters. But I still try and stay in shape and hope to look as good as possible for as long as I can.
I loved the reunion, and missed seeing and catching up with old friends. I don't work and am always home.. I lost my mom in 97 at age 47. In2003 my best friend I met at hard rock cafe, passed from ovarian cancer, my aunt the next day, THEN.......my beloved mamaw who was 94 and the best person I ever knew.
But thats my life.
Take care to all and I am proud to say I am proud to have known the class of 1983, you rock.
