Life
Hey Classmates! These days I've been raising a family (including pets) and playing music in Wichita. I haven't changed so much since school, except I am happier than I was then. And more confident. I hated highschool -- I was one of those freaks smoking cigarettes out on the patio, one of those freaks who took Frisby's Bio II class, one of those freaks who lived out at Lake Quivera. I had virtually no friends except Terrie Burnley. When I went to college, I thought, "Oh,...Expand for more
so this is where I belong." In retrospect I wonder how many others from my school felt as alienated as I did. Living in Johnson County warped everything. Yeah, we lived at Lake Quivera, BFD. My parents drank constantly and beat each other up occasionally. I never had the clothes the Jocks had, so I was a Freak by default. I was smart when it paid to be cool. I think there were a lot of us kids who were messed up, one way or another. I'd love to hear from anyone from SMNW.
