Therese's Story

I left San Diego in 1959 1st moving to outside Sacramento Ca. By 1962 I had 4 boys and my husband began our moves around the world. We moved about every 2 years for his company either across the US,or Europe, Mexico and Asia.. We did this till 1970 then to North Caralina where I took up teaching till our sons were out of high school. My husband and I once again went to Europe to live. We were gone of and on till 1980. It sounds like a crazy life but it was fun and met people from everywhere. In 1980 we moved to South Car...Expand for more
olina and while he (and I at times) still had to travel I took up appraising commercial properties and some residential. In time i became chief appraiser for the state. During these travels I became a search realtor for my husbands company for housing for his staff. That was interesting because most countries were not use to working with a woman in this capacity. After my husbands death i moved to Peachtree City GA to be near my son. I am now the assessor for the county we live in. I still travel and have a full life
