Thilda's Story
Life
I'm still enjoying life's great adventure. On leaving Alto it was off to SFA where I received a BS (Biology/Chemistry). During those years I worked at Meth. Hosp in Houston for then Admin. Teddy Bowen former Altonian and son of Delia Bowen (AHS teacher); a term at Sorbonne (Paris); and a year working in Manhattan. Back in Texas to med. tech. school in San Antonio, marriage, a fantastic daughter, and 30+ fullfilling years working in the medical field. tor, and wonderful children Elizabeth Breann (4 yrs) and Hector Enrique (6 mos.). I still have my old home in Alto where my grand-parents, Dr. J.C. and Stella Hill raised me. My mother Phila Gene Hill Wilson grad. AHS in 1945. We visit Alto as often as possible.
College
I loved the times with friends at the Newman Center. Helping others and the great discussions made for wonderful memories. The biology and chemistry professors were great. Their care and interest was wonderful. Wish I had learned all they had to teach both in courses and life.
