Tom's Story
In addition to Michigan, lived in California; State of Washington; Hawaii, Washington, D.C.;, Abidjan, Ivory Coast; Dakar, Senegal; Singapore, and now Virginia. After moving from Redford Township, graduated from Calif State University at Fullerton with a degree in Accounting. Spent two years in the Army at Ft. Lewis, Washington. Worked in LA for one year and thereafter worked in Honolulu for 4 years. Moved to Washington, D.C. and joined the Foreign Service and worked and lived in Washington, Abidjan, Ivory Coast; Dakar, Senegal; and Singapore. In my work, traveled all over the world. ime consulting for 7 years and retired full-time in 2011. We have two daughters who live in Virginia and Washington, DC. One son who lives in San Diego. Still stay in contact with several classmates from St. Agatha's. We have had get togethers in Michigan, Florida, California, and Virginia. Myself, Bob Dorchy, Jack Harrington, Doug Graber, Dick Rigley, and Ron Jetke got together in March 2018 in Florida. Saw Dorchy and Harrington in Florida in March 2020. Our first granddaughter was born in July 2018. Grandson was born in May 2021. Generally travel quite often but the pandemic has cut back on that. Expect to do some traveling in 2024.
