Thomas's Story
Life
I joined the Air Force, got married, traveled the world. Spent time in many different countries, experienced the different cultures. Getting ready to start a second career. Taken some college classes. In my second house with a garage now. I have two vehicles. Two step children both married and on there own doing well.
Military
Basic training wasn't bad, then went to Technicle school for HVAC/R. My first assignment was Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. Spent ten years there then changed career fields and went to school for the Post Office in South Caralina. Then went to Fankfurt Germany. Sampled the German Beer, visited many countries there, Spain was my favorit...Expand for more
country. Did a TDY in Saudi Arabia. After two years in Germany I went to Southern California for a three year tour at the at Edwards AFB Ca. Air Force Flight Test Center, (AFFTC) Experienced the comming of new military aircraft before they were initiated into the Air Force. After three years I went to Kunsan AB Korea for a year, and then back to Elmendorf AFB Alaska. Spent one three month tour in Kuwait. Probably spend more time in Iraqi and then back to Elmendorf AFB to finish my military career.
Finished my Military Career, retired 30 June 2006. Now working as a Boiler Operator at the Elmendorf AFB, Hospital, in Anchorage, Alaska for the last 5 years now.
