Life
Well class of 68, it's been a long time since I saw the star city or any former schoolmates. You see, I actually moved to Newport News during my junior year and had to finish there. e me long for home and I often think of all the people I knew there. Having lived on Madison and Center Ave I knew a lot of people. From Gainesborough elementary to lincoln terrace, to booker t. to addison, I view my journey as a blessing. To have been touched by so many and that all these years later to still remember many of their names demonstrates to me that it truly takes a village to raise a child. I did get to attend the 40 year anniversary and had a blast reuniting with old friends (we're not old, we're seasoned, sassy, sophisticated and STILL SOOOOO COOL).
