I left Lewiston after my Junior year, my dad had quit his job and couldn't find another so I, being the oldest, had to move on - 1 less mouth to feed. I joined the USAF and went into Security Police. I went through the training and eventually got stationed in Central California. I lived there for several years -'79, '80, '81. I had a girlfriend there, and she is one of my life's few regrets - I just wish I had been more mature to handle that relationship. After the military I moved to Corvallis, Oregon where I met and fell in love with the woman I eventually married and had two children with. We ended up in Nampa, Idaho and after 7 years - we were divorced. That didn't stop me though, I soon met and fell in love with a woman who, though not married to, am still friends with to this day. Umm..not great friends, but still friends. I have worked in law enforcement, several years as a Deputy Sheriff, several years as a city Police Officer, as well worked on an ambulance as an EMT.
