Thomas's Story
Went to several colleges. UM spoiled me when they went to Rose Bowl first 2 years. Rose Bowl showed me there was a place that didn't have cold winters so moved there. Bounced around schools, based on who was most likely to be in football bowl game. Finally had to graduate (1966.) That was followed by Marines. Ken Gutzke and I joined at same time. married in 1967. Sharlene still puts up with me, I quit asking why decades ago. Started retained search firm for hotel industry in 1978. Have been at it ever since. Slowing down, but no real interest in retiring. Job has given more travel than we cared for, so couple short trips into Canada every year totally satisfy us. We think about coming back to Minnesota for few days, but we hate flying.
