Prior to hiring on with the railroad, I was in the Air Force, and after separating from there I worked in the air freight business. Military I was in the U.S. Air Force for four years, stationed at Nellis AFB, near Las Vegas, NV. I was assigned to the 57th Aircraft Generation Squadron, as a Crew Chief for the F-15 Fighter Weapons School. I also briefly worked on A-10s, but I much preferred the F-15. Sometimes I miss doing the work, and have thought about joining the Oregon Air National Guard, but I have grown a bit large for the uniform. Plus, George Bush is an IDIOT and I don't think I could serve with him as my Commander in Chief.
