Thomas's Story
I left UICC for the USAF on my 19th birthday, (1/17/72). Spent 4 years underground babysitting Titan II missiles as the guidance/nav specialist on a combat launch crew. I learned to fly and went on to become a certified flight instructor in 1975, the same year I met Jane and married her shortly there after. I earned BS and MS degrees in aeronautical engine...Expand for more
ering from Wichita State University. My first job was as an astronaut trainer at the Johnson Space Center for the first three Shuttle launches. I left to join Boeing for 34 years and retired as an Engineering Techical Fellow. I have three daughters, Jennifer, Ashley and Brooke, and have 5 grandsons. I LOVE NOT working and playing with my little grand boys.
