Thomas's Story
Since graduating from Lafayette Jefferson High School I started to Purdue, attended 1 year and then enlisted in the USAF for 4 years. All my enlistment was spent in Texas working in Air Force Base hospitals as a pharmacist and a corpsman in the ER. Met my wife there and we both finished our tours of duty and moved back to Lafayette where I re-enrolled at Purdue and finished my Pharmacy Schooling. After graduation I went to work for a local independent pharmacy in the neighborhood where I grew up. My wife went to work at Home Hospital and served in various disciplines. She became pregnant and quit work for a while but soon was back at her chosen profession and began working in the industrial area of nursing. She later worked for visiting nursing and VA. We moved to Marion, IN where I stared working for a retail chain as asst./mgr. Later moved to Huntington, IN where I was the manager of the first chain store in that city.Had our second child while we were in Marion and this was our son. Our first child is our daughter.

ved with church work and do love our Lord.
Stayed in Huntington 16 years and then moved to Indianapolis to give moral support to our daughter as she worked on her Masters degree in social work. She loves working with challenged elementary school aged children. Our Son also graduated from Purdue with a degree in aviation engineering technology and has a good job in Columbus, IN.. Neither of them is married. I am a retired widower as my lovely wife passed away 16 years ago.
I am a walking example of the bionic-man as I have both knees and both hips replaced..Also have a right shoulder replaced and a pacemaker/defibrillator in addition to 10 stents. My ministry now is sending cards and notes to shut-ins, sick and in the hospital, ones who have lost loved ones, graduation cards and Thinking of You cartds.
Just celebrated my 80th birthday and recommend it very highly as I received more BD cards than at any other time. Love and Blessings to you all. Oh, yes, my first car was a dark navy blue 1950 Buick Special 2Dr Sedan.Loved those wheels.
