Thomas's Story
I have been married for 35 years as of February 11, 2019 to my beautiful wife Terry. I have served in Public Education and concurrently served as a Pastor for the last 24 years or so. I have 3 wonderful daughters: Hannah, Rebekah and Jessicah. We have been blessed with super talented super beautiful girls. We have had our wonderful 1st grandson (Ryder) & 2nd, Maddox & third .(Brody James). I do wish there was a way to have grandkids first, then the luster of children fades a bit. They are my joy and hope. I am a schoolaholic. I love taking classes. I have taken a couple of years off but will return soon to finish my doctorate.
I am finding Parkinson's to be unforgiving. The treatments seem dismal, too. Thank God Jesus has paid the price for my eternity
. The best memories I have before becoming an adult had to do with school. I love CHS Class of 1979 and Kerens HS Class of 1979. I would like to spend time with my classmates in the area if ever able to do so.
I blow off steam by playing the piano, reading, travel, fishing, wa...Expand for more
tching action movies...and of course the unmentionables.
My inspiration comes from the power and the presence of God Almighty through Jesus Christ. I find strength when I am weakest and His power insures the fulfilment of God's plans for my life.
I've learned that each and every kid is unique and has prewiring from our Creator. They are entrusted to us for a short time; then we must entrust them back to God for their destinies to be fulfilled. There are no perfect children and there are no perfect parents. God will weave the fine tapestries of life for each/all of us and make something beautiful out of it; something He can be proud of; and some day every knee will bow to Jesus Christ.
My current age is 57. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be on the downside of life. I was so completely WRONG--we're still going up and up..
My first job was at F & B Food Mart, where I got paid $1.35 to do everything from sweep to butcher meat and deliver groceries. . What I remember most about it is the awesome customers and coworkers..
