Life
After leaving North HS 1n 1974 my family moved back to Tonawanda and I graduated from Kenmore East - frankly a miserable school compared to North. I went to Oswego State undergrad - where I met my wife Patti (I usually introduce her as my first wife!). We've been married 27 years but I'm still "taking applications". We have 2 sons one at U Vermont and one applying to Music School. My dream of producing at least one orthodontist is fading.
I went to Medical school in Buffalo and finished my training in New Haven at Yale (gastroenterology). I've been on the faculty at the UB School of Medicine since 1990 and am currently Chief of Medicine at the VA. It's not an unreasonable job. I still shutter when I ...Expand for more
realize I live about a mile from my old home - near Bassett Park. Will I ever escape??
It's strange how a summary of 30 odd years comes down to.... "not much", very odd.
My brother John (NHS 1974) has an international job selling powdered metals (who knew there was such a thing?) - he lives outside of Pittsburgh. My sister Lisa lives in Ashland OH and teaches special education. I have two much younger brothers Rob and Danny who remain punks.
Unfortunately I've maintained too few relationships with HS chums. Joe Zuchlewski is a good friend and he lives in Houston TX teaching English. Bill Lapp was my Best Man and I was his. He now lives in San Fran CA a psychologist.
