Thomas's Story

Life I had a rough time exiting High school because all I ever heard from anyone was what I couldn't do. Even the counselor, after asking me what I wanted to do upon graduation, I responded with three different options and her response was "Oh, you can't do any of those things because you haven't prepared yourself". I just wanted to crawl in a hole. I was the sort that generally believed what people told me, so if someone said I couldn't do that, I would just think ok, I guess I can't do that then. I managed to graduate from City College of San Francisco with an A.A. in Hotel and Resturaunt Operations. I worked for a while as a manager of Jack-In-The-Box, and a couple of other places and got tired of the long hours and little pay, so I started looking around for something better. I married and divorced after seven years. I had a daughter. I went from job to job for a while and got tired of all the politics in California (and the high cost of living). I moved to Washington thinking that there just had to be something better somewhere. After about 3 or 4 years there, I landed a job at Boeing. I got into a training program there and worked on the 767's installing the interiors in the airplanes. Any of you who knew me must have known my interest in airplanes. I was always flying control line and R/C model aircraft, so this was a really good job for me. I worked there 15 beautiful years and made a good living there. Then 911 happened. After 911, all of Boeing's customers started calling and cancelling their orders. I was evertually laid off and told I probably wouldn't be back. My second wife hated the whether in Wash. so when I was laid off, we moved to Arizona. Yep, it's hot here.I eventually got a jo...Expand for more
b driving a school bus which is what I'm doing now. I guess you could say I'm semi retired as when I was laid off from Boeing, I took out my pention so I wouldn't loose my benefits. The other important thing that happened in my life is I found God (I call Him Father or Elohim). When that happened, my whole life turned around. Everything started coming together. He has seen me through difficult times. He has picked me up out of the gutter and put me back together again. I can't tell you what a joy it is to have Him in my life. He is indeed a comforter. I'm sure that those of you who have also found Him know what I mean; Those of you that haven't found Him yet, you're in for a big surprise......I eventually got into Messianics. I believe in Yeshua (Jesus Christ) and I also keep the customs of the Jews - as they kept them according to scripture. I'd like to add here that we live in a very unique time. We are definitely living in "The Last Days". There's not a whole lot of time left before the return of Yeshua (Jesus). I really hope that you (my classmates) will take this seriously and go before your maker and pray for peace for Israel and ask Him for knowledge and wisdom about why Yeshua came and What His reasons were for coming. This is very important for you salvation. Please do not take it lightly. I would like to see you all there in Jerusalem at His return. I pray for you all that His face will shine upon you and bring you peace! So I guess that about concludes the story of my life. But my life isn't over yet. I'm working on starting a Travel Business. I'd like to put together a Class Reunion on a cruise ship; anyone interested? Let me know. As they say: " On With The Show!".....
