Thomas's Story
After leaving and a couple of years at NCC, I went into the military, Russian Language at the Defense Language Institute. Quickly got several promotions to SSG/E-6 in 3 years; learned what I could do; finished college at Hofstra and was accepted and got a PhD from Univ of CA at Berkeley in Mathematical and Statistical Economics. but the turn in my life was finding out what my abilities were from a professor at the language school and the head of IBM on the West Coast while at language school. Two people turned my life around and now I try to have that kind of positive influence on others I meet.
I've had a few people come back and thank me and that makes it all worth it!
