Thomas's Story
Music Fest Presents: Producer Thom Ready a one time Southern California-based songwriting and recording professional, with the clarity of his voice and the subtle simplicity of his songs, Tom a multi-instrumentalist and accomplished audio recording and video producer Thom colors in the sound with complexity, authority and edge. Visualization comes naturally to Thom his appearance in the art world stated as a young farm boy in Indiana picking up the guitar at the age of 12. The multi-disciplinary artist also draws on a theatrical background to create characters in his music and videos being cast as an actor in California Thom envisions each of his songs as a movie having been on both sides of the camera in a number of movies and TV shows. Thom notes that it¿s his voice that seems to shift of its own accord when he adapts to the scenarios in his lyrics. Like most all Thom writes from inspiration; ¿Don¿t you go Down on the Bayou at night¿ is one example. The storyline was inspired by Thom¿s once upon a time Cajun wife¿s Daddy and the life lived on the swamp lands and the French Cajun people. "I have loved making music all my life in fact music is my life", I produce music festivals in my community and love it now that I'm back home from Hollywood California after living out there for over 30 years having two radio shows and a cable TV show being in tons of movies and TV shows life is good back home here in Indiana.
