Has it really been 45 years?! Where to start, let's see - after RHS I went to Bucknell University for a few months, and then joined the turn-on, tune-in, drop-out generation. Fortunately that didn't last long and I soon took a job in the laboratory of a chemical company (duh), got married, and bought a house. That marriage didn't work out but did produce three children and four grandchildren (UPDATE: Make that five!).. The job did work out, however, and I climbed the ranks to, of all things, Vice President of Sales & Marketing. The best part of the job was that it afforded me the opportunity to travel throughout the world (wholeselling synthetic lubricants), and enough money to retire early, which I did in 2007 after 38 years. I remarried in 1999 to a lovely Irish lassie, and since we are both now retired we can travel frequently, finally getting the time to savor all the great places I passed through on business trips. Serious hobbies include photography, vegetable gardening, cooking, reading, investing, and art collecting.
