Thomas's Story
Life
I married RoseMary Basista (class of 55) and we have two children and 2 grandchildren. I graduated from Syracuse University with Degrees in Physics and Electronic Engineering and the State University of New York with a Degree in Engineering Management. My career with the Federal government lasted for 37 years and I retired at age 55 as Deputy Chief of the Electromagnetic Systems Division at Rome Laboratory. RoseMary and I are avid golfers. I play at least 5 days a week. We are members of Shamrock Country Club and have our own Yamaha golf cart.
I am also doing genealogy research on the name Baustert and have accounted for over 1600 relatives in the US and Luxembourg.
Due to the winters here in Rome NY(120++ inches of snow) RoseMary and I usually spend our winters in South Carolina or Texas.
