Thomas's Story

Life I went to West Point after H.S and lasted through " Beast Barracks" I decided I did not want that kind of life and got a Psych degree at UB. In 1968 I was hit head on by drunk driver and destroyed my left hip. I have recently had my third total hip replacement. Moved to Texas in 1972 and got a degree at University of Texas in Nursing. I have worked Trauma ER and ICU, and taught at Miami-Dade College. Moved to Live Oak, FL after hurricane Andrew and own a medical manufacturing company for items I invented.( disposable cover for blood pressure cuffs, sling cover, arm sleeve and several more in progress. I have 4 children with wife,Theresa. Kristin ,Michael , Kelsey and yes it is correct Dan 6 I have son, Todd by first wife. Total of 3 grandchildren at this time. Lived in Miami for 12 years and left after neighborhood destroyed by Hurricane Andrew in 92. We bought a large RV and traveled throughout the w...Expand for more
est for two years. Theresa home schooled our children. Theresa and I visited China in 1991 and we walked the great wall and visited the ruins at Zion.We also stayed for a week in Hong Kong. I went to Paris last year for my business. While there I got to see the Louve,Summer Palace,Notre Dame. Went up to the top of the Eifel tower.We look forward to traveling more extensively in the future. Traveled to India and spent 12 days in Baroda , Gujurat to determine feasibility of setting up a manufacturing plant there. It did not work for us , but was a fascinating time. Have retired now and travel a lot. Just got back from cruise to St. Maarten, St. Thomas and Bahamas. We have family in St. Maarten and will be returning there soon. Spend a lot of time in the Keys( Tavenier). My son Michael is a pilot in the Air Force and we are praying for his safe return from his second deployment to Afghanistan. Time marches on!
