Thomas's Story

Life After graduation I attended Harbor J.C for two semesters. Took a break and after marriage and three kids eventually got my A.A. Degree while working for the County of Los Angeles in various job classifications. Now 37 years later I'm still employed by the County of Los Angeles as an Assistant Division Manager of the Purchasing Department. School Unlike many of my fellow Democrats my family and I moved to California in August of 1963. Just in time to start high school September, 1963. I missed the elementary and junior high experience and therefore didn't know a lot of folks at Jeff before graduation. This probably accounts for my not keeping...Expand for more
in touch because there was no history between me and many of you. The other reason was the Vietnam War and the fact that Los Angeles is such a large area one can get lost and there paths never cross. While at Jeff my hang out buds were Christopher Craig and Philip Gamble. The most memorable of the many crazy things we did was to put our empty milk cartons in an adjorning locker. By year-end our senior year the locker was so full... one of us would hold the cartons in place, while one would hold the locker door while the third would put a new carton in. I still wonder what the scene was like when that locker was opened that upcoming fall semester.
