Thomas's Story
Life
After 55 years, 22 spent in the Air Force (2 wars) lost the first, won the second, retired as MSgt. Married in '72, to Claudette (Canadian) have one daughter (Jody) whose graduated as a RN and married in '03. First grandson (Evan Thomas Albro) due in Oct. 04. Joined U.S. Customs after the military in '90. Started out flying drug interdiction missions in South America for four years, lots of fun there. or two years. In '97 back to OKC as a Customs Inspector. Promoted to Senior Inpector in 2000. Since 9/11/01, the job has changed dramatically. U.S. Customs is gone, replaced by Customs and Border Protection. Drug smugglers are considered small beans compared to people who dwell in the world of mass destruction weapons.
Hope to hear from classmates of '67. I do keep in touch with some like Roy, Alfie (Grandpa now) and of course now and then Jane.
