Thomas's Story
Life
After graduating from Bel Air, I attended Towson State University where I graduated with a B.S. in Biology. I went to work on Long Island, New York with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. During this time my office was at Brookhaven National Laboratory, a government research facility. While there I met my wife Joan whom I married in 1988. I started working for the Laboratory in 1990 as an Environmental Compliance Specialist three months before the birth of my first son, Robert. Stephen arrived in 1992 and rounded out the family. I am now a Project Engineer Mana...Expand for more
ger, my wife has left the Lab and is now a kindergarten teacher, and my sons have already had active sports careers. I continue to keep in touch with Mr. Updegrove although our tennis and softball days ended long ago. My own sports exploits have taken their toll on my body and have limited my sports career to fishing and coaching my sons. Along the way I have also obtained an M.S. in Environmental Technology and remain six credits short of an M.S. in Biology. School was never better than at Bel Air. I miss everyone and hope the years have found all healthy and happy.
